On March 15th was the first school for
parents evening, entitled “Parental Models.
What kind of Parents are We?” was
delivered by Lic. Edistio Camere de la Torre
Ugarte,
President of “Promocion y Formacion
Humana” – PROFORHUM and Headmaster of Santa
Margarita School, in front of nearly 200
parents who were present.
In a very pleasant way he presented the most
outstanding characteristics of the different
types of parents, emphasizing their positive
and negative qualities and giving several
examples of each.
The
success-oriented, the spectators, the over
protective, and the academic parents were
some of the models explained during the
conference and in which many of the parents,
who were present at the conference, were
able to see reflections of themselves.
The following morning, during the assembly,
Lic. Edistio Camere gave out diplomas to the
teachers who had taken part during the
holidays in the Diplomado PROFORHUM that
centred on the role of a tutor
