About Fleming / School Rules

The School Atmosphere

At Fleming we have managed to achieve a school day which is orderly, quiet and controlled, an atmosphere in class which is a working positive atmosphere. Our students have learned to think for themselves and to practise self discipline.

We encourage students to arrive  to school and to lessons punctually, well dressed in the appropriate uniform.

Student Council

To ensure that students support our policies and procedures their viewpoint is expressed in our extremely active Student Council. The council brings suggestions from students throughout the school to regular meetings and also conveys the opinions and requests of the administration. Our students are extremely proud of what they are achieving in terms of making their school a more successful institution and more representative of what they need.

School Day:

The students enter  school up until 7:30 a.m. After that time they are considered late. On Mondays and Fridays there is a short assembly.  Then attendance is taken by the tutors. From 7:50 a.m. to 8:10 a.m. the Silent Reading takes place. The school day finishes at 3:00 p.m. There are three breaks for first and second grade students and two breaks for the other grades.

At 3:15 p.m. the extracurricular activities begin.

The School Manual

The school manual is a continuously evolving and developing compilation of school rules and procedures. For access to the most recent version please click here.
