Mission
Fleming College
is a British Peruvian school which aims to develop intelligent,
enquiring, open minded, positive, bi-lingual individuals, who enjoy an
international perspective, and who achieve their potential through a
balanced and demanding curriculum. We also strive to ensure a commitment
to social values which will allow our students to live humane,
productive lives with which they will contribute to a democratic society.
Vision
On
entering Fleming College you will find a school which is safe, orderly
and attractive. A place where everyone is treated with courtesy, care,
trust and respect. A place where people learn for the joy of learning,
read for the love of reading and communicate fluently both in Spanish
and in English. A place which demands high academic, artistic and
sporting standards. A place where there is a true commitment to
improving conditions on a local, national and international level.
Fleming Graduate Profile
All
that Fleming does and stands for will be reflected in the students that
graduate from the school. These graduates will be proud of their school
and will have contributed positively towards it. They will be bi-lingual
young men and women who are well prepared for entry to university or
institute of higher level and able to flourish when they get there. They
will be computer literate and will have learned for learning’s sake.
They will have learned to think, not to memorise. They will have
conducted themselves well and with dignity. They will leave Fleming
fulfilled in the knowledge that they tried hard and made the most of the
opportunities presented to them. They will be ready to tackle and adapt
to the difficult and changing future that lies ahead of them, equipped
with the skills and resources to be well rounded and happy adults.
